Flat finish Alumawood awning

This aluminum awning was built in a backyard in Murrieta California. It has post lights on a switch, and flood lights on a switch. This is a clean look if you don't want to put the rafter tails on the end of the fascia. Now the back of the how wont get some much sun during the day. The blinds can be open and the living room is much more livable. Alumawood is great for many reasons but I think the main is to cool things down from the heat of the sun. Hope you enjoyed and if you have an question please comment on the bottom and I will get back to you ASAP.

Alumawood with no posts

We filled in the small nook with a white, 2" lattice with 1" spacing Alumawood Laguna lattice patio cover. The 1" spacing is done to increase the amount shade provided. It isn't a very big patio but it makes a big difference. This is the wood look with the long life.

Alumawood on a wooden deck

Here is another great advantage to Alumawood products. This wooden deck is huge and because of the light weight of Alumawood it is possible to build a shade to cover this huge wooden deck. This patio has all 3x8 rafters instead of the standard 2x6 that is used on most patios. This is truly a one of a kind patio, but hopefully will give others ideas of what is possible with Alumawood.

Combination patio

This Alumawood Patio was built off the roof of the house so that it could provide more shade, and still maintain a height that went good with the design over the windows.
